Support provided by PET-Xi
Whilst on Universal Credit, Karen was referred to a PET-Xi course, giving her the opportunity to develop both confidence and work-related skills through the Positive Destinations course.
Support provided by PET-Xi Skills Tutor Paul Coleman instantly formed a relationship with Karen, as he was able to highlight Karen’s eagerness for development and the areas she wanted to improve despite her lack of confidence. Throughout the duration of the course, Paul gave Karen the full support required to unlock her potential, which included staying late after sessions had finished to ensure work was completed to the highest standard.
The development in Karen’s skillset and confidence was obvious for Paul to see following the 1 to 1 support and regular check ins.
