Campion School – NTP

PET-Xi’s core business is tutoring disadvantaged and low achieving KS2 – 4 school pupils, a targeted service we have delivered nationally for 26 years. We have helped over 152,500 pupils by delivering intensive, motivational and inspirational tutoring which is carefully-crafted and designed for schools to select according to their specific requirements. Each interaction is carefully structured to achieve optimal learning impact to close the achievement gap. 

Most of the groups are following a ratio of 1:5 and the programme started just after the start of the academic year. The school engaged with the National Tuition Programme last year working with PET-Xi, the programme worked well and they wanted to continue for a second year. PET-Xi worked closely with Campion School to discuss the programme implementation to ensure all current process and legislation was correctly followed and to identify groups and numbers, select content and appropriate class dynamics.

The English tutor recently announced that she was moving to a permanent teaching position but PET-Xi was able to replace her with another experienced and capable tutor and the school was able to say a fond farewell and welcome the new tutor without any negative impact to the programme or the learners.
