Support provided by PET-Xi
Alaiham joined PET-Xi’s 18-week Traineeship programme designed to help get young people into apprenticeships, employment or further training.
He worked with PET-Xi centre manager Kendall Clark and the team via interactive remote sessions which focussed on work preparation, employability, and personal development skills. He also took part in an internal IT and social media work placement with PET-Xi.
“Alaiham is a confident individual but he lacked the skills needed to sustain employment. Although he’d had small part time jobs in the past, he’d never thought about his long-term career options.”
