Entrepreneur Digital Skills Bootcamp
Entrepreneur Digital Skills Bootcamp is an excellent opportunity for West Midlands residents across Birmingham, Coventry, and Warwickshire to move into self-employment. Designed to support residents who may have barriers to employment and have considered self-employment but are unsure on how to start up a new business or grow their business idea.
Our programme is designed to awaken local residents who have given up on entering the employment market and have never considered the opportunities of legal self-employment and business start-up.
All participants will have an initial booking call with the learner engagement team. During this call the team will go through course overview, IAG session to discuss barriers to learning or employment, goals and aspirations, SEND and any further support including Maths and English that is required during the programme to support transition to self-employment.
The programme is aimed to develop the following:
Knowledge
- Develop a business plan
- Develop business ideas
- Understand the importance of communication
- Understand Market Analysis
- Understand funding a new business
- Understanding business structure
- Cyber Security Level 3 module
Skills
- Develop logo and branding
- Be able to demonstrate communication skills
- Be able to identify their development in English and Maths
- Build on skills with coaching

Participants who set up their own business have the opportunity to receive a £300 grant from the PET-Xi Foundation
Duration: 3 weeks face to face 10 am to 2.30pm In classroom, 14 weeks 1 to 1 mentoring with the business plan. 12 weeks support during business start up.
