I.T. User Skills Level 2 Course
A five-day course leading to a Level 2 Certificate in IT User Skills (ITQ).
Over the five days we cover Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills which includes; using Word to produce a high-quality CV and Cover Letter, creating effective presentations for a specific audience and interpreting, analysing and presenting data using Excel.
There are no exams on the course, so achieving the nationally recognised qualification is solely based upon completion of an e-portfolio. It is therefore vital that all five days are attended.
19+ unemployed and meet one of the following criteria:
- You receive Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA), including those receiving National Insurance credits only.
- You receive Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) and are in the work-related activity group (WRAG).
- You receive Universal Credit, earn either less than 16 times the National Minimum Wage a week or £330 a month and are determined by Jobcentre Plus (JCP) as being in one of the following groups identified in E5 to E7.
- You are released on temporary licence (RoTL) and studying outside a prison environment and not funded through the Offenders’ Learning and Skills Service (OLASS).
